Chris & John Elliott's small farm in the tiny hamlet of ChampGuichon, in the rural heart of Normandy, is an ideal place to stay. They offer both B & B farmhouse accommodation and self-catering in the "Petit Guichon" gite (left).

COMFORT. Both the gite and the farmhouse offer a blend of traditional design plus modern comfort and convenience.

PEACE. The hamlet is deep in the countryside, off a very quiet country road. There's usually no traffic noise at all. ChampGuichon is a working farm with goats, horses, ducks, chicken, geese and fields to be looked after. So if you fancy sampling the TRUE rural lifestyle, Chris and John can always find some odd jobs for you round the farm!

FOOD. Chris is a professional chef, so you can enjoy her Anglo-French cuisine at evening meals (vegetarians can be catered for).

CONVENIENCE. The provincial towns of Flers and historic Domfront are only a few km away, making ChampGuichon an ideal base for exploring.
